Create your own position: Committees

There are many ways in which you can contribute to ΠΤΣ. Start with an idea, elaborate on that idea and then present your idea to the board for approval.

Committee examples:

  • Community Outreach - Service activities, planning events, fundraisers, SERV, Engineers w/o Borders, join up with other clubs/chapters, set up tutor/mentor program
  • Lounge - To improve the quality and style of the MAE student lounge.
  • Transfer of Documentation - To foster the transfer of documentation, knowledge, and leadership to the next year’s e-board with minimal loss of the above.
  • Public Relations - Companies alliances, engineering happy-hour, publicizing - flier-ing
  • Department Liaison - Forster relations with department chair, directors, professors, and work alongside faculty members towards common goals.
  • Old Test Library - Compile tests and study aids from undergrad classes in past years.
  • The Fight Against Books - Start a book exchange within the club, so members don’t lose money through the bookstore.

Remember that anything you could do, no matter how small, could greatly benefit the ΤΙ Chapter.

Don't be shy. If you have an idea and would like to start a committee, please fill out our Committee Proposal Form and submit your proposal for review.
