|
Dear Fall 2012 Pi Tau Sigma Candidates,
Junior Elections for the 2 positions available will be held on 10/08 immediately after the Meet & Greet (~7:30 PM). The two positions available are as follow:
Secretary As a very broad position, you will be able to experience various levels of leadership. You get what you put in, but your core duties will be to attend our biweekly executive board meetings, take minutes and draft the end-of-year report.
Webmaster As the webmaster, you will manage Pi Tau Sigma on a technical level. Your core duties will be to maintain our website (pts.rutgers.edu) and our Sakai page. You may also go well beyond and develop new systems or graphic designs to be used.
Election format: Each candidate will give a brief talk (~1-2 min) on his/her background and why he/she is a good fit and then current members will vote anonymously on each candidate.
Elections will be short ~ 15 min
*All current Pi Tau Sigma members are encouraged to attend and vote on the candidates.
If you are not able to attend, please send a brief email to mmaia@eden.rutgers.edu including:
- A brief background on yourself
- Why you feel you are a good fit for the position in question
If you do not attend the election, you will still be eligible for a position but your chances of obtaining the role of choice over someone who is physically there is low. Nevertheless, if you are interested, I still urge you to try.
For additional information, visit our website @ pts.rutgers.edu or email mmaia@eden.rutgers.edu.
We look forward to working with you,
